Nordwestbahnhof

Nordwestbahnhof – Vienna 08|2020

A ghost letter from the Semperit tyre company on a abandoned building | August 2020

Viennas abandoned Nordwestbahnhof (North Western Railway Station) was once an important and therefore big railway station during the time of the Habsburg monarchy. It lost its importance after the decline and fall of the Austrian Empire. Ceasing to be a passenger station in 1959 and being used as a freight terminal since, it is now scheduled to be developed into a residential area and meanwhile serves as a refuge for drinking parties and rather mediocre graffiti artists.
